Oil filled radiator heaters silent electric oil-filled heaters for indoor rooms
An oil filled radiator heater is an electric room heater: an element warms sealed oil inside the fins, and the fins release that heat by convection and radiation — silently, with no fan and no open flame. StormForge supplies oil filled radiator heaters to home-appliance distributors, retailers and private label brands for bedrooms, offices and living rooms.
- Sealed oil-filled fins — the oil is never refilled
- Silent convection heat, no fan (fan-assist models optional)
- Thermostat, power levels, timer and frost-guard mode (by model)
- Tip-over and overheat protection as configurable options
How an oil filled radiator heater works
A heating element in the base warms a sealed reservoir of oil that circulates through the fins. Because the oil holds heat, the heater warms up slowly and keeps radiating for a while after the thermostat switches off, giving even, quiet heat for rooms where people sleep or work. The oil is sealed at the factory and is never topped up or replaced by the user.
Which heater?
Three heater pages on this site cover three different jobs, so buyers land on the right product:
- Kerosene heater — fuel-fired portable heat that works without electricity — for power outages, workshops, job sites and off-grid cabins, used only with the ventilation the manual specifies and a working CO alarm.
- Oil filled radiator heater (this page) — electric, silent, sealed oil-filled convection heat for indoor rooms such as bedrooms, offices and living rooms; needs mains power.
- Space heater for garage — electric or infrared heat with a frost-protection setting that keeps garage pipes and water heaters above freezing.
An oil filled radiator needs mains power: for outages, pair it with a generator and transfer switch, or consider a kerosene heater.
Safety guidance and compliance
Manuals we print to your approved text typically cover: keep the stated clearances from curtains, furniture and bedding; never cover the heater or dry clothes on it; plug directly into a suitable wall outlet; do not use in bathrooms or near water unless the model is designed and documented for it; keep children and pets away from hot fins. Tip-over switches and overheat cut-offs are configurable options per model. We do not claim UL, ETL, CSA, CE or any other listing by default; heaters are built to the standards you specify, and test reports available for a given model can be provided on request.
