Storm shelter types
Above-ground safe rooms are steel enclosures anchored to a concrete slab — inside a closet, basement or garage — and suit buyers who prefer not to go below ground. In-garage shelters sit under the garage floor with a sliding or hinged lid. In-ground shelters are buried in the yard with an angled or flush entry. See tornado shelters for formats, sizes and what to specify.
Supplying dealers and installers
Shelters are heavy, site-installed products. We work with regional dealers and installers who handle siting, anchoring and permits, and with builders who include safe rooms in new homes. Flat-packed panel kits reduce freight for distant markets; fully welded units suit nearby dealers.
Design standards, honestly
Safe rooms are life-safety products. We do not claim FEMA, ICC 500 or any wind or debris-impact rating by default. We fabricate to the engineering design you supply or specify, and test reports or engineering documentation available for a design can be provided on request. Pair shelters with emergency radios and emergency supplies as an add-on.

Frequently asked questions
Do you sell shelters directly to homeowners?
No. We supply dealers, installers and builders who handle siting, installation and permits.
Can you build to our own engineering drawings?
Yes, we fabricate to your design and specified materials; drawings are confirmed before production.
Can shelters ship flat-packed?
Bolted panel designs can ship as flat-pack kits to reduce freight; welded designs ship crated.
Are your storm shelters FEMA or ICC 500 compliant?
We do not claim FEMA, ICC 500 or any other compliance, approval, wind or debris-impact rating by default. Shelters are built to the design standard and engineering you or your market specify, and test reports or engineering documentation available for a given design can be provided on request. Siting, anchoring and permits are the installer’s responsibility under local code.
