Sump pump alarm types
Indoor high water alarms plug into an outlet (often with battery backup) and connect to a tethered or vertical float switch placed above the pump’s normal on-level. Outdoor-style alarm panels add a visible beacon for septic and lift-station tanks. Wi-Fi sump pump alarms send app notifications for high water, power loss or pump cycling (model dependent).
