Does StormForge sell to homeowners?
No. We are a B2B supplier for brands, distributors, wholesalers and installers. Consumers should buy from our customers’ retail channels.
What is the minimum order quantity?
MOQ is quoted per SKU and depends on the product and level of customization. Mixed containers across categories are welcome — see wholesale.
Can I put my own brand on the products?
Yes. Logos, colors, packaging, manuals and kits are covered in our OEM & private label program.
Are your products FEMA, Miami-Dade, UL or ASTM certified?
We do not claim any certification, approval or rating by default. Products are built to the standards you specify, and test reports can be provided on request where available.
How fast do you reply to inquiries?
Typically within 24 hours on working days. Use the inquiry form.
What is the minimum order for private label?
MOQ is quoted per SKU and depends on how much is customized — logo-only programs start lower than custom housings or packaging.
Can I mix products from different categories?
Yes. Kits and mixed containers across flood, storm, leak and freeze products are common.
Who owns the designs and artwork?
Your brand artwork remains yours. Agreements on custom tooling are made per project.
Do you have price tiers?
Yes, pricing is tiered by quantity per SKU and confirmed on quotation.
Can you ship to my warehouse?
Shipping terms are agreed per order; FOB is typical, other terms can be discussed.

Flood Barriers
What is the difference between a flood barrier and a flood gate?
A flood barrier is the general category — anything that blocks water at an opening. A flood gate is a hinged or lift-in panel sized to a specific opening such as a driveway, usually with a fixed frame.
Can you make flood barriers to a custom width?
Yes. Plank and gate systems are cut to the opening width and height on your drawing; adjustable door barriers cover a size range per SKU.
Do you supply sandbag alternatives as well?
Yes — absorbent bags that swell on contact with water are a common entry SKU and can be packed in retail multipacks under your brand.
Do you supply flood vents?
Flood vents can be added to a mixed order when you provide the design and the standard your market requires. We do not claim any flood vent certification by default.

Storm Shutters
What is the difference between storm shutters and hurricane shutters?
The terms are used interchangeably. “Hurricane shutters” is more common in hurricane regions; both cover accordion, roll-down and panel systems.
Which storm shutter type is cheapest?
Storm panels are usually the lowest cost per opening; accordion shutters are mid-range; roll down shutters cost the most but add security and convenience.
Do you supply storm panels in polycarbonate?
Yes, clear polycarbonate panels are available alongside aluminum and steel.
Can shutters be motorized?
Roll down shutters can be supplied with tubular motors and remotes; specify voltage and plug type.

Water Leak Detection
Where should water leak detectors be placed?
Near water heaters, washing machines, dishwashers, under sinks, beside toilets, near sump pits and in basements — anywhere water could pool.
Do you supply leak detectors that work without Wi-Fi?
Yes, standalone audible water alarms work without any network.
Can the app be branded with our company name?
On suitable smart models, white-label app branding is available; scope is confirmed per project.

Do I need pipe insulation and heat cable?
Insulation alone helps in mild climates; exposed pipes in colder climates are often protected with heat cable under insulation.
Can you supply mixed sizes in one order?
Yes, insulation diameters and heat cable lengths can be mixed per container.
Do you supply roof snow rakes?
Yes — telescoping aluminum roof snow rakes can be quoted for winter programs. Snow melt mats and roof de-icing cable are discussed per project.

Do you supply automatic transfer switches?
Our focus is manual transfer switches and accessories for portable generators; automatic switches can be discussed per project.
Can you bundle a transfer switch, inlet box and cord as one kit?
Yes, kits are common for retail and e-commerce programs.
Do you sell generators?
No. We supply connection hardware for generators supplied by others.

What is the difference between a lightning rod and a lightning arrester?
A lightning rod gives a direct strike a path to ground through the structure’s lightning protection system; a lightning arrester diverts surge energy on electrical or signal lines.
Do you install lightning protection systems?
No. We supply components to distributors, brands and installers; design and installation are done by qualified local installers.
Can you supply mixed lightning and surge items in one order?

Do you sell shelters directly to homeowners?
No. We supply dealers, installers and builders who handle siting, installation and permits.
Can you build to our own engineering drawings?
Yes, we fabricate to your design and specified materials; drawings are confirmed before production.
Can shelters ship flat-packed?
Bolted panel designs can ship as flat-pack kits to reduce freight; welded designs ship crated.

Yes, emergency and earthquake kits are built to your bill of materials and packed in your branded bag, box or bucket.
What goes in a 72 hour kit?
A 72-hour kit is an emergency kit sized for about three days: water, food, light, radio, warmth, first-aid items, hygiene items and copies of documents. Contents should follow the official checklist in your market; we assemble the list you specify.
Do you ship products with lithium batteries?
Yes, with the battery documentation and packaging required for the shipping mode; details are confirmed per model.

Do you make hail covers for specific vehicle models?
Standard sizes cover most sedans, SUVs and pickups; model-specific patterns can be developed for larger programs.
Can you supply hail protection for outdoor equipment?
Padded blankets and panels can be quoted to size.
Is your hail car cover hail-proof or impact rated?
No hail cover makes a car hail-proof, and we do not claim any impact rating, test result or certification by default. Protection depends on hailstone size and wind. Material and drop-test reports available for a given model can be provided on request.

Winter Storm & Heating
Can we combine snow tools and heaters in one order?
Yes. Snow shovels, brushes, scrapers, cleats, covers, curtains and heaters can be combined in one container, with freeze protection and emergency items if needed.
Which heater should we stock for power outages?
An oil filled radiator heater needs electricity; a kerosene heater does not, but it needs ventilation, a CO alarm and safe fuel storage. Many retailers stock both with clear use guidance.
